Steve spent nearly 40 years as an executive in the financial industry, overseeing teams across the US, UK, Europe, and Asia, while living on Long Island and in New York City.

Outside of work, Steve has dedicated much of his time to the outdoors, freelancing for environmental organizations like Save the Sound, The North Shore Land Alliance, and Save the Great South Bay. His passion for environmental causes is evident in his work with non-profits.

He has served on the board of directors for two organizations, including as Treasurer and board member for Friends of Bellport Bay, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, where he actively worked on initiatives to restore oysters to Bellport Bay. Additionally, Steve served as Secretary and board member for Save the Great South Bay, another 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Steve’s love for nature photography has also led to his work being featured in publications like Newsday and other local newspapers. Furthermore, he contributed to a national effort to protect Plum Island from development, further demonstrating his commitment to environmental preservation.
